What Authors have to say about being on our show...

TriCom's podcasts are one of the coolest ways I know to learn about books. The fun conversations with authors are matched by eye-catching graphics. Forget about the negativity of Talk Radio. If you want to listen to something that makes you feel good and get excited about stories, this is the way to go. - David Morrell, New York Times Best-Selling and Bram Stoker Award Winning Author of Creepers and Scavenger

I'd been listening to the podcasts for a few months and couldn't wait for my turn! The experience was great! Wali is a wonderful interviewer and kept the conversation flowing. Authors in Your Pocket is a wonderful avenue for authors and readers, an innovative mechanism that brings authors to new readers like no other. This is definitely the wave of the future, and as always Peggy Hicks is leading the way. I'm glad I got on for the ride. Continued success to the TriCom PodSquad! - Donna Hill, Essence Best-Selling Author of Guilty Pleasures

Wali, Peggy and the Tricom Podcast family made my interview a breeze! It was pleasant, fun and I felt right at home with Wali. I can't wait to get my own iPod so I can listen to all of the interviews they provide. And, I was really impressed with the art work they chose to accompany the interview. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity! - L. Divine, YA Series Author of Drama High: The Fight

Jan Underwood's Day Shift Werewolf interview for Authors in your Pocket is such a great thing for us to be able to offer our 3-Day Novelists. To listen to the experiences and process of one of our authors and to hear her read from her winning book is a big source of encouragement for future entrants as they gear up for this challenge.- Melissa Edwards for the International 3-Day Novel Contest

My recent TriCom Podcast interview with Wali was a rewarding experience and a lot of fun. Talking to him was like talking to a friend that I've known for years. Not only were his questions thoughtful but as an interviewer he was very thorough. He addressed issues a lot of interviewers usually overlook. What made the interview even more enjoyable was the fact that several book club members participated. It was the best on-line book "party" I've ever attended! - Mary Monroe - New York Times Best-selling Author of God Don't Play

One of the best book club discussions I have ever had. Because I was actually with the group in person, Walli sensed the intimacy in the room and really let the club guide the discussion. For readers of mine who might be interested in going beyond the printed page, I think just about every possible question about how DEAR ZOE came to be was asked and answered that night. - Philip Beard - Author of Dear Zoe

I thoroughly enjoyed talking with Wali about my book. He was very engaging and positive and gave me an opportunity to reflect on a wide array of issues relating to the writing process and the themes of the novel. I was truly honored to be sought out by TriCom Podcast and to have the chance to share my work with its subscribers. What an awesome experience! Thank you! - Jan Underwood - Author of Day Shift Werewolf and winner of the 2005 3-Day Novel Contest.

I really enjoyed my podcast interview! Wali Muhummad does a great job of setting a conversational tone. It felt more like chatting with an old friend. I was able to relax and talk about everything freely. Check it out! - Candice Dow - Author of Ain't No Sunshine

The interview at the Midwest Literary Festival was one of many 'bests I've ever experienced'. For the first time in many years of being interviewed, I had no sense that the interviewer had any motive, goal, plan other than to find out who I was and present me in a good light. She didn't have a spin, or need anything sensationalistic. She just wanted to share me with her listeners. Jenn was a natural. I wish I could take her with me as I go on tour this month and have her substitute for all media hosts!

The producers were also 'the best' I've ever experienced in that everything was professional, organized, and yet calm. It was like being on a cloud of cotton rather than sitting on tacks! - Tara Taylor Quinn - USA Today Best-selling Author of In Plain Sight published by Mira Books, a division of Harlequin

When I was contacted about being interviewed for an Authors in Your Pocket Podcast at the Midwest Literary Festival, I first had to ask my son how podcasts work. I was nervous because it was a live interview and as a first-time novelist, I'm still pretty new at those. Well, it was amazing! Peggy was so fun and friendly I felt like I'd known her for years and she put me immediately at ease, and Wali, who did the interview, made me feel comfortable and confident. His questions were insightful and smart. I love that readers will discover my book through this forum and I can't wait to be asked back. - Judy Merrill Larsen - Author of All the Numbers published by Random House

Wow! What a rush! I felt I was in the same room with Authors In Your Pocket Pod Personality Wali Muhammad, and together we met a lot of new readers. How fun!! With this podcast, I was able to "meet" readers I wouldn't have in person and it doesn't end with the airing of the show. Our session is downloadable and so it's very cool to think that the interview is on iPods and computers everywhere. This is a great, great innovation. I absolutely loved it! - #1 New York Times Best Selling Author Lisa Jackson

Authors In Your Pocket produced by the TriCom Podsquad is an innovative and exciting tool for reaching new readers. I was astonished by the powerful insights and challenging questions of the participants on the Bookclub In Your Pocket show. They helped me to understand my own novel better and to see more deeply into the characters. It was an awesome experience--an honour--to engage in this profound dialogue. I highly recommend it. - Award Winning Canadian Poet Turned Author, George Elliott Clarke

What Authors have to say about our show...

Thank you so much for letting me know about Authors in Your Pocket! The interviews are wonderful. I listened to the Emily Giffin interview and am saving it on my desktop just so I can go back to it again and again for inspiration. Just terrific. I thought Wali Muhammed's questions were brilliant and insightful. His dialogue with Emily provided a very well-rounded view of both her work and her life. I loved listening to Emily discuss not only her experiences as a writer, but the complexities of the decisions women face when choosing whether or not to have children. Thanks for providing such great podcasts and for supporting writers! - Lori Jakiela, author of Miss New York Has Everything

The tricompodcast.com site is great! Fun, easy to use, and so convenient! - Ann Herrick, author of Summer Replacement
