Nancy Bush has been writing fiction for over twenty years. She began her career with her sister, #1 New York Times bestselling author Lisa Jackson, while they both were raising young families. Their first book was co-written in long-hand at the dining room table. Though it was “rejected by the best of them”, the book spawned both of their writing careers. To date Bush has written for the Nancy Drew mystery series, young adult romance, historical romance, “chick-lit”, plus she did a stint on the head-writing team of the daytime drama ALL MY CHILDREN in 2002/2003. However, her true passion has always been to write a mystery story, and she is delighted to have the Jane Kelly Mystery series fulfill that dream.
The Binkster is a Chinese pug who makes her debut appearance in the first book of the Jane Kelly Mystery Series. The Binkster was first created as a fictional character – Nancy had put her in her early versions of CANDY APPLE RED long before The Binkster was real flesh and blood. Now she’s an integral part of the Jane Kelly Mystery Series and a real, live sweetheart of a dog.
