Authors-In-Your-Pocket ShowTM Midwest Literary Festival "On the Road Series" - Episode One

We are proud to introduce the special twelve segment Authors In Your Pocket(tm) “On The Road” series featuring the authors and literary publishing professionals at the 4th Annual Midwest Literary Festival which took place the weekend of September 16th and 17th, 2006.

This year’s Midwest Literary Festival took place in Historic Downtown Aurora, Illinois’ second largest city. As a celebration of the written word, this free festival offered a wide variety of activities for the whole family, including over 50 authors, book signings, panel discussions, a how-to tent, children’s area, food vendors and much more.

Launched in 2003, the Midwest Literary Festival is an innovation of the Aurora Economic Development Commission's Seize the Future program in cooperation with the Aurora Public Library. For more information on the festival please visit www.midwestliteraryfestival.com.

Nancy Bush is the author of more than three dozen novels in various genres. She has also worked as a breakdown writer on the daytime favorite, All My Children. Nancy’s newest novel, ELECTRIC BLUE, is the second in the Jane Kelly series of romantic mysteries, following Candy Apple Red. In this second smash outing, Nancy’s wickedly funny heroine, Jane Kelly, proves herself a worthy successor to Stephanie Plum, but with a wit, style, and dog that are definitely all her own.

In ALL THE NUMBERS, author Judy Merrill Larsen skillfully takes us through every parent’s worst nightmare as she brilliantly explores, through fiction, how love makes us vulnerable and how very isolating yet very human is the desire for revenge. A trial takes us to a highly charged ending in which, in an unexpected turn, Ellen reconciles the pain of an irreversible past with the duty ahead. Judy Merrill Larsen teaches high school English in St. Louis, Missouri, where she lives with her husband and five children. She holds a master’s degree from Washington University.
